About Placer.ai and its data
Placer requires its mobile data providers to obtain opt-in/opt-out consent in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The data is stripped of identifiers, such as mobile advertising identifiers (“MAIDs”), names, other device IDs, and contact information, by the provider before Placer receives it.
Placer.ai provides aggregated information about physical locations, and our maps never represent the actual location of any one particular device. Further, we don’t show any data for locations with fewer than 50 unique devices. In addition, Placer.ai does not knowingly share geolocation data about places such as military facilities, places of worship, preK-12 schools, rehabilitation centers, or women’s health facilities.
