Transparency is important to us. We provide Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®), to detail the accessibility features and conformance levels of our different platform packages.

Measures Taken to Support Accessibility

Placer.ai has taken and continues to take the following measures to ensure accessibility of our platform and website:

• Internal Expertise & Training: We are building accessibility knowledge within our teams through training and awareness programs.
• Design & Development: Accessibility considerations are being integrated into our design and development lifecycles.
• Testing & Audits: We conduct periodic accessibility assessments, including both automated testing and manual evaluations (including with assistive technologies), to identify and address accessibility barriers. For our Accessible Package, more rigorous testing protocols are applied.
• User Feedback: We actively encourage feedback from our users to help us identify and prioritize accessibility improvements.
• Documentation: We strive to provide clear and accessible documentation for our platform features.

Our Accessible Package includes specific enhancements such as:

• Keyboard Navigation: Comprehensive support for keyboard-only navigation, ensuring all interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse.
• Screen Reader Compatibility: Improved compatibility with common screen readers, providing appropriate labels, roles, and states for user interface components.
• Color Contrast: Careful attention to color contrast ratios to ensure readability for users with low vision or color blindness.
• Text Resizing & Zoom: Support for browser zoom and text resizing without loss of content or functionality.
• ARIA Implementation: Use of Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes where necessary to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and advanced user interface controls.

Accessibility of Placer.ai relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on a customer’s computer:

We support the latest versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend our customers use the most up-to-date versions of their preferred browser and assistive technology for the best experience.

Assessment Approach

Placer.ai assesses the accessibility of its platform and website through a combination of:

• Self-evaluation by our internal teams.
• Automated accessibility testing tools.
• Manual testing, including assistive technology compatibility checks (e.g., screen readers).
• Periodic third-party accessibility audits, particularly for our Accessible Package.

Limitations, Alternatives, and Ongoing Efforts

While Placer.ai strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the platform and website perfectly, especially within our Foundations Package or with legacy content. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of our platform and website up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

Known limitations may include:

• Complex Data Visualizations: Some complex maps, charts, and graphs may present challenges for certain assistive technologies. We are actively exploring alternative representations and summary data options.
• Third-Party Integrations: Content or functionality provided by third-party plugins or integrations may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We encourage vendors to provide accessible solutions.
• Legacy Content: Older sections of our platform or website might have accessibility issues that we are working to address.
